The Waqf (“Waqf”) is an Islamic endowment where any benefits received from the endowment, are donated to charitable projects. It is an ongoing charitable endowment similar to sadaqah jarriyah and is used to develop and support communities.

Waqf could be in the form of land, a hospital, a university, a library, cash or any form of an asset that could benefit the community.
